This is an old post but was hoping someone could tell me where to find the same arm rests now. Left and right (gray), GM part numbers 15972538 & 15972537 for my 1999 2 Door Tahoe. Thanks!
LMC Truck?

Thanks Swathdiver...great information...salvage may be the only way to go. Tried LMC already along with the dealer, classic industries and many GM parts web sites.LMC Truck?
Yes...#20 on both sides. Those things are like trying to find a unicorn. I will likely end up hitting the salvage yards or making a pair and get them upholstered. Thanks! You’re talking about #20 in the diagram below, right?
A dealer could probably check nationwide inventory to see if any happen to remain in stock, but it’s probably a salvage yard or eBay item by now.
Car-part.com is a good search engine for salvage yards and usually includes photos of the donor vehicles. Try searching for a more common part (a door or seat or something) to see if any two-doors pull up as an armrest may not be inventoried specifically.
Some salvage yards may ship, so it may be worth calling if they aren’t local. I wouldn’t rule out a 92-94 Blazer, they may have used the same armrest pad on those as well.
For instance, here’s one that pulls up a two-door and has an interior photo which captures the part in question.
