Has anyone found a use for this useless cubby?

So I know it’s been brought up before, but wondering if anyone has come up with anything new.

What is the point of this useless cubby? Yes I understand it’s where the 4x4 buttons are normally, but I have a Denali so it’s AWD.

I wouldn't advise it, but you could start smoking... Probably could fit a pack of Marlboros and a lighter in there.

Maybe a vape pen, if you are of the younger generation.

I cut a hole in The back and put my Bluetooth mic in there. I kept knocking it off the headliner anytime I cleaned the is down if my windshield and got tired of it. The mic sits in there and there’s less wind noise when I’m on the phone.

My Sierra C3 has it for business cards, when I go to swap meets. Wife's Escalade EXT has the power folding mirrors, so it's got that switch.

About the wireless charger thing I’m thinking of modifying my center console to charge my phone by setting it down like my moms 22’ Kia Sportage does in the charging cubby I don’t think that empty space would do the same thing bad.
