Has anyone tried these LED's in their fogs?

Unless you want them as DRL's or accent lighting I would go a different route. I have that style as my DRL lights. No real use full light. If you want bright go with the led kit that has it's own balast. See pic. Only downside is they only make them in 5k color and the price...

Yep I have those in my escalade fog's. One of them just went out a few weeks ago. They looked really good and were bright (for fogs that is) up until one of them went out...

How long did they last before the one went out?

We're they any better than the OEM bulbs?

A few months. They were whiter in color and seemed brighter when looking at the vehicle from the outside. But on the road with them on they were just as useless as the normal fogs. More for looks then anything.

Did you replace the bulb or go with something else?

Still researching what to go with next. I'm definitely not buying the same pair that's for sure. Just looked it up and I've had them since May 2013. Longer then I thought. But that's not even a year so pretty ****** that they went out if you ask me.

This is what I had:

I just ordered these exact ones for my avalanche!! Can't wait to get them installed. Can't believe they're $175 on amazon. I got the exact ones on eBay for $75. Seller wanted $100 and I hit the "Make offer" button.

Post pics when you get them installed man. I'd be interested to see how they compare with the other ones you had.
