I am thinking of getting a tune done by black bear performance, either a 'scan cable tune' for $300, they would send me a scan cable, I would do a test drive, and record data and they would build a tune based on that information. I could also do just a standard tune for $200.

Has anyone done this before, if so have you been satisfied? This would be for my recently 6" lifted 1999 Tahoe.

Thanks!

unknown at this time.
That is like the primo tune used by memebers here and with nothing but good remarks. Scan cable method is best. A second computer to flash would be better.

Thanks for the replies, what specifically will the tune do? Keep in mind I still do a lot of highway driving and cruising, not just playing off road!

The AutoCal 'scan cable' is only 300 IF you get the $200 tune first. If not, it's ~550. Pretty much the same price : /

You can tell them what you want it to do and they make it happen automagically :Handshake:
