having a problem need some help!

i have just bought an 06 tahoe and it is hesitating a little bit when i take off.also the lights dim a little bit also. i also have noticed that on my dash it says traction active? can somebody help? thanks

you need to check the voltage... could be as simple as a failing alternator or battery.

+1, that was going to be my recomendation, had a very similar experience with my jeep, after a new battery life was good, hope its a simple fix for ya.

Also, if/when you do replace the battery and you have some extras like a stereo set up I might recommend the Big 3 wire upgrade.
