Dude im reading your own posts. Your literally saying these people are lieing to you. You were given an explanation but didn't like what you heard.....or like you said...knew better.

The only advice you got from the people posting here to start a fire lol. Anything short of burning the place down and you accuse others of things too.

So I'm gonna go on a limb here and say you dont need advice as you only want to do one thing.

It's crazy that someone saying be polite and have patience is met with rude and sarcastic remarks.

Sign of the times I suppose. Or maybe my parents did something different. Good grief and good luck.

Curiously watching this unfold from here. I won't respond to you anymore. You already have your hands full. Wish the best.
OP know that they were lying because he could see their lips moving!

no, lol I keep working and getting paid for doing nothing, that's a easy one.
the point here is the person higher up may or may not even be aware of the situation at hand, like my anaology said, I as the "boss" may not even be aware that my worker that was supposed to show up on monday did not in fact show up. I being clueless receive a call from a presumably unhappy customer then address the situation by either getting my employee to show up and do the job or perhaps even take the reins and do it my dam self. either way things are then presumably getting done. all because a higher up was contacted.
it's not science I think my 8 year old could figure it out.
what if he is and he reiterates what the lowly worker said?

Smart 8 year old man! We need more smart people.

I kept responding because you chose to personally attack me when I didn't agree with your scorched earth policy. If you want hive mind that's fine. But I don't stick up for dealers as you can see by my posts. I stick up for common sense. Those examples were to prove that even simple things take time.

Reality is you are not believing what they told you. And you only agree with those others that say you should speak to the owner of the dealer.

Its comedic and sad. I promise you you are probably at the bottom of the list if this is how you interact with people. Even if you weren't the tech and advisor won't go out their way to make an unhappy guy less unhappy .

All i said was give them time and humility. But somehow that's extreme advice around here. Lol

Lol where did I personally attack you? I said you seem like an old person because of the phone and drive thorough terrible analogies that you gave. That’s a personal attack? And you clearly don’t get why people in this forum come at you. All of your posts are condescending and ignore details to fit your narrative.

You keep saying you are kind and decent but all of your posts talk down to people and act like we are all a bunch of animals who want blood from the dealers. No one said anything about going crazy at the dealership and yelling and screaming. I said I “think” they are lying to me (it’s lying, not lieing). Injever accused them of lying to me to their face I just said in here I felt like they were.

You just don’t ready anything outside of what you want to fit your argument that I have been abusive and terrible. I haven’t been. I have been polite and simply asked questions, which I think I have a right to do. According to you I dared asked questions about the progress of my vehicle so they have just written me off as an unhappy customer. Makes good sense.

Dude I've been here long enough to know that's not the case. There is a lot of misinformation on this forum and I'm one of the few people who cuts thru the BS.

In this situation I told you my advice. I articulated the best way I could. If that offended you sorry.

As for coming off harsh yeah facts and truth can hurt. When I've been proven wrong I concede. Sometimes I'm mistaken. Usually I'm not.

I was in the industry a long time and was top performer. Im the guy that fixed everyone's mistakes. I have those experiences which I do share for the betterment of this forum and individuals. Whether it's corporate bs, engineering , or technical expertise I did it all and still do.

With that said I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. It's easy to call BS when it's evident. Reading your story I didn't see that. I saw what the advisor told you and then your rebuttal. That's why I clarified if it was the tech who you spoke too. In which case you said it wasn't. So that let me believe the advisor just didn't have the full picture and connected the dots himself which led to your distrust. My only advice was to let it play out a bit longer but everyone here was saying it's ridiculous and to go further up. 10 days isn't long. There are plenty of places that can't even look at your car for 2 or 3 weeks maybe even a month.

Hope it all works out for you.

At the dealership I use service writer is in direct contact with tech that is working on customers vehicle they work in a team.
And no, they don't work first come first serve maybe oil changes. Different techs work on certain repairs. So first come first serve would be very inefficient.

well then at some point after going up the totem pole if I was getting no where I would either start legal proceedings, take it somewhere else, reach out the BBB
customers have rights and there are laws protecting both the manufacture and the customer.
don't try to twist it that this is the next step for a reasonable person it is not at that point yet, it is a what if scenario and furtherance down the road if nothing was being communicated well and no results from anyone.
you always have a right to take your toys and go play somewhere else
I am presuming it has a warranty of some kind and not sure of the "fine print" here but there has to be some form of consumer protection in that warranty statement or state law
I am going to go out on a limb and say it will probably be resolved in short order, worst case scenario they replace the bcm and send him on his merry way.
so all of this back n forth is just non sense

So they are fixing vehicles that come in before vehicles that have been there?

its first come first serve. Techs are not doing oil changes unless it's some really slow dealership.

Techs have specialties. They are dispatched work based on those specialties.

If you need a transmission. And you get dispatched your still 4th in line since there are 3 transmissions ahead of you. No amount of screaming will change that.

So yes at the professional places it is first come first serve.

See, another perfect example. You claim to have been personally attacked but simply gloss over that when you are called out on it and go on some “I see through all the BS” rant. This aligns with ALL of your other posts. Ignore and structure your statements around your narrative to make it fit what you want even when it’s wildly inaccurate.

That doesn't make any sense you have a vehicle you can be repair because of repair parts in parts department has and other vehicles that they are overnighted parts, and other vehicle may be week before part come in so since first vehicle came in first dealer is waiting for a week for part and one that came in fifth that parts are in parts dept and that have to wait until first vehicle parts come in a week. Get out of here.
Four vehicles with same trans repair
I know in occupation I have we get behind you work extra hours or other employees on job until problem solved. This story not enough techs others step up an utilize what you have.

Because I'm not trying to start anything other then the matter at hand. This is a car forum not a high school cafeteria with all the different cliques sitting at different tables.

But if you insist on examples ; You personally attacked me by going thru my post history and saying that I'm unliked etc, calling to question my age and experiences , saying that I must be old based on my analogies , said that im a company shill, dealership shill, should we go on? Bullying and politics have no place here. I could care less about it just shows where your head is at.....its HOTTTT! I'm on this forum to learn and read and to help. But clearly I've hit a nerve because I'm not the hurry get the manager type over nothing.

So again I profusely apologize for voicing an opinion/viewpoint that has blown your and a few others minds. By all means take it to the TOP. Good luck.
