Header gaskets

Got a set of Pacesetter shorty headers for my Tahoe. Came with a set of gaskets to the head, and ONE flange gasket! ‍ Should I use the gaskets that came with the headers or the stock 3 layer metal gaskets? And do I need to use the flange gaskets? Do the stock manifolds have flange gaskets that can be reused? Or can I pick up a set of flange gaskets from AutoZone or Oriellys that will work?

Not sure about the flange gaskets, but grab a set of fel pros, or anything else. I wouldn't trust the gaskets they sent you. I just replaced one of my header gaskets. I still need to do the other side. They're usually crappy gaskets. If you do use them, guaranteed you'll be changing them in a few months. Also make sure you use quality header bolts.

If using the stock Y, there's only 1 flange gasket.

Not sure about the flange gaskets, but grab a set of fel pros, or anything else. I wouldn't trust the gaskets they sent you. I just replaced one of my header gaskets. The donut goes on the right and the other whether it be a ring or gasket goes on the left in most cases, they only fit one way unless the design deviates from stock.
