Not to hijack this thread but rather to get more clarity on this modification.
Are there any known issues with overheating wires or fuses ??

I don't think you should have a problem with that unless you drive around all day with your highs on. Just using your highs on dark roads and flashing, you should be fine.

Does anyone know what type of headlights BowTieFreak is running? I emailed him a while back but I didn't get a response. I trust his opinion, and I don't want to accidentally buy a piece of junk part if at all avoidable. . .

TYC lenses i dont think he knows what type of bulbs he has tho
