well, I got these parts out of a 2003 Yukon XL, but looks like I can not use them on my truck. the headlight switch has a different plug than my truck. this switch has the headlight defeat (where you twist the knob to one side & it will turn off the auto headlights). asking $40 shipped to the lower 48 states.

i also have a pocket that goes in the dash to the right of the HVAC controls. I was going to remove my on star unit, but the opening in my dash is not big enough to use this pocket (about half the size of the pocket opening in my dash). asking $30 shipped to the lower 48 states.

Good luck on sale.
My swith from my 02 went out and bought one from an 05 escalade with the harness but couldn't find the wire diagram to make it work. Just have it laying around. I'm guessing your switch went out.

yes it is. both taken out of the same vehicle.

actually, i bought it thinking i could try to use it to see if it would work with the headlight defeat. but i guess i'm going to have to do that mod with the resistor.

to use in my truck, i would either have to buy a new bezel or cut the opening where my onstar is. the opening in my dash is only about half the size of the pocket.

You have to remove the OnStar buttons. Its not like you use them or anything. Just pop off the section with the buttons and the two switch blanks and the cubby will pop right in.

yeah, i could do that, but the plastic on my dash trim would have to be trimmed. the opening isn't as large as the pocket in my truck. actually the previous owner had installed 2 switches about the opening.
