One question I've seen videos of Tahoe in Russia on YouTube and the DRLs are always on with the headlights and your tahoe seems to do the same.
Why do they do that?

Yes, DRL always switch on but headlight switch on automatically only at night.
Do you have another algorithm?

My car is in the studio now.
They alter the entire plastic in the cabin into the skin.
