Recently installed some projector lights on my 2001 Tahoe.
The left hand side low beam light is not as bright as the right hand side low beam light. I swapped the head light assemblies and the same thing occurred, the left hand side low beam is not as bright as the right hand side.
Basically the LHS headlight assembly that was dim on the LHS side of truck was now bright when assembled on the RHS of truck. And vice versa for the RHS headlight assembly was now dim when installed on the LHS of truck.
Felt is was a headlight assembly issue but felt the above test rules that out.
Checked the voltages coming out of the low beam connections. The RHS was ~12.3 and the LHS side was ~11.7. Regrounded the LHS so it is now ~12.3.
All bulbs except the high beams are brand new.
Not sure what to check next. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advanced.
