Headlights when unlocking

Is there a way turn off or not have the headlight turn on when unlocking. Feel like its a HID killer. 2011 tahoe

yes i think you can use the buttons to the right of the steering wheel to change the settings in the DIC menu. i beleve its the one that says Approach lighiting, i had HIDS for a long time and never had a problem. it looks cool walking up to it at night. as long as you dont have the CHEAP hid kit your fine. i removed mine because it looked like they were hazing the inside of my headlights.

and yes it does look pretty badass walking up and having the lights warm up.
