I was given some headrests with built in monitors, a dvd player, and wireless headphones. I was told that it didn't work and the guy I got it from was just going to throw it out. I figured for the price (free) why not try it and see. After I hooked everything up it all worked great, the problem is the kit was made for a 03+ tahoe/silverado/suburban, mine is a 1997. The posts are a little farther apart on my stock headrests. Is there a way I can modify this to work in my truck? Has anyone moved the headrest mounts in the seat or maybe swapped the seat for an 03+?

What's the brand? Are they aftermarket universal ones? Most of those have the ability to adjust the poles inward or outward to fit a lot of seats. Post a pic of the headrests so we can get an idea of what you're working with

some of them you can cut a hole and mount them in any headrest as long as it's big enough, but we need a picture of them
