Alright, got it all wired up today.

had to run a 16ga. power wire to the pass seat, and ran a ignition triggered wire to both seats for the heaters. relay is up under the steering wheel being triggered out of the fuse panel with a fuse tap (temporary) and both are fed from the aux port under the hood.

yellow wire isn't hooked up, and the pass seat heater works fine.

heres a picture to explain the extensions needed for the pass side.



and the one to show rear entry (folded, not moved forward) seat is as back as far as it goes.

thanks! when i have the funds to get the seats redone it'll be lookin real good, driver seat is pretty rough on the bottom.

you want pics of the seat connectors or what specifically and i'll try to get you some. other than the connectors and actual relay it was all basic wiring.

pass. seat wiring is temp. hacked together until i can find a factory truck side connector to keep it looking clean.

is there anyway of using your factory bottom seat bracket so you dont need to weld something up????

doesn't look like it, had the passenger seats side by side and it looked like you either have power track assembly or the manual assembly. no mixin or matchin.

i have an idea of how to do it without welding extensions on it but rather bolting them on there. have to pick up some grade 8 bolts tomorrow after work and fire up the drill press. the "extenion" plates im using is approx. 3/16", quite a bit thicker than the seat tracks and the floor mount. shouldn't be a problem with strength at all, even in an accident. If i have a chance to work on it tomorrow i'll throw some pictures up.

did finally get this done, can get pictures for anyone who wants to see the wiring or the passenger side track "modification". picked up a couple truck side connectors and wired them in, so now if you look under the seat at the wiring it looks factory. been using them a lot lately going to work and will never go without heated seats in a DD ever again!! haha completely worth the money.

need to pick up some covers or have the redone sometime in the near future, but they look much better than the old cloth seats IMO.

Did yours have buckets to begin with? I recently replaced my bench with a set of buckets from a 4 door. I am wanting to put in the center console, but I don't seem to have the bracket holes. Any suggestions on mounting it?

did you look under the carpet? its probably not cut out for you. theres 2 smaller holes in between the front seats near the back that the bracket bolts down to

Yeah, I pulled the carpet away and I didn't see anything. My guess is the nuts are there somewhere, but it is going to be rough with the transmission right there to find them.

yea that might be a pain in the ass. Best bet then is to for someone to measure where those brackets would be (general area) then for you to just put self tapping screws in the floor into the bracket and all it a day..

the console also bolts down in the front, so 4 selftapping screws would really holder down tfine. Actually the rear bolts in mine snapped off inside the nuts. all the carpet and crap got stuck and just snapped. No big deal but just saying. lol
