I have or should say had a 1998 Tahoe lt..My son just totaled it. It only has 140,000 klm and was mint. I also have a 1996 K1500 in great shape as well. I am taking the motor and drive train out of the Tahoe. Heated mirrors were not a option when i bought the k1500. My Tahoe has them. I want to swap the mirrors but i have no idea how to. I know i need to take the climate control off my Tahoe for the use of rear window defrost. It has a purple,orange, black and i forget the last colour on the plug. I am not sure where to wire these wires for the plug to work. I pulled the wiring for both mirrors. There are 8 or 9 wires on the plug from the Tahoe.. My truck only has 4 on the plug. If anyone can help me out that would be great.
