Heater hose connector replacement

I've replaced all the coolant hoses minus the two from the firewall so matched up the ones I needed and got the pair off Amazon, the hoses attach to the front just slide on the hose and use clamps or is there a connector I need too?

The hoses have similar push-lock connector on them. I would strongly advise against securing the hoses directly to the connectors and they are smooth. Hose barbs have a lip or ridges on them to aid in retainment. These don't, they aren't meant to
