Hella Black Magic 500 vs 1000

Do the 500's have glass lens, and will they hold a 100w bulb? I am looking at putting these behind my grill and can't decide if I need the 1000's. I don't want a plastic lens and I know the 1000 comes with a bonded glass, just can't find squat on the 500s about the lens.
