Hey guys and gals,
I some how missed this whole section while enjoying my time on this site.
I have only subscribed to this forum and a Grand Prix site when I had my 2004 GT. As for other forums, just paintball ones.
So I decided to make an introduction!
My name is Ryan McKean and I am from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
I originally found this site while I was looking for drive shaft issues on a 5.3 2000 LT Tahoe.
The black Tahoe was my first truck and got me into what has become a real hobby for me that like most of you here I find relaxing and rewarding.
I had just finished some work on the Tahoe which included: u-joints, input/output shaft seals in tc, and a case saver inside the tc. Then it was written off. yay.
With 5k from insurance I found a deal which was too good to be true.
2002 LT Suburban Originally from Missouri. Re-built tranny 3000miles ago and 285k on the rest. Almost zero rust on the body and frame. 5000 plus tax.
Transmission now slips and hardly shifts at high RPM. yay
