I can't imagine being limited to 56 mph!!!! These trucks can fly down the highways here at 85 mph comfortably all day long......I do this very consistently.

It's actually registered as a cargo truck for local tax (or should I say tax-free) reasons. Saves me around 500 annually so it's a worthy payoff in my opinion.

You can check the parking sensors by waving a hand in front of each one at a time being sure to not cover any other, if one does not beep then it is bad or perhaps not aligned properly if any are crooked or have physical damage that will cause the error, also check the harness and see if they are all connected properly. In the meantime you can turn it off in the settings

Thing is I can't turn the parking system on at all. The park assist button light on the middle console is permanently on (aka off) and if I press it it blinks 3 times and stays lit (aka off)
I've been thinking about just disconnecting the battery for a bit and see if it's just a hiccup but i'm also waiting for the OBD2 to arrive in the mail so i'll have a proper readout first.

Do a visual inspection of everything that you can, check the sensors, wiring and if possible test the on/off button. The control module is up under the frame around the spare tire area it is subject to being exposed to the elements, be sure everything is clean and plugged in properly

Aloha & Welcome from O’ahu, Hawaii! You’ve got quite a beauty on your hands. Did it come with the owner’s manual. A manual might just answer some of your concerns and questions. YOUTUBE has some good informational videos on maintenance. It’s helped me with my 2012 Yukon many a time. Good luck and stick around. Don’t forget to hold on tight because this place can get quite rough at times. Aloha!

The light bar in the front bumper gets in the way of the parking sensors. I would start there, previous owners probably disconnected the sensors.

For the rear suspension, check the sway bar bushing and links. With that many miles on the SUV, I would replace all the rear suspension bushings including the Air bag suspension components.

Thanks everyone for the welcome and big thanks for all the advice I'm already getting!

Been told by the auctioning company not to touch the car until the dispute is settled (seller had claimed everything works which perhaps ramped up the bids a bit.) They contacted me after asking for feedback and apparently they want to treat their customers right, but i'm itchy to start working on it!

Will absolutely check the spare tire area for that control module, gotta unmount the spare tire itself anyways to check for rust, also didn't even think about potential front sensors lol.

Anyways i'll make a whole separate topic about it later, in here I just want to greet you guys!
