Does any member have 1st hand experience of aftermarket 2007 PPV Rear Limited Slip (G80) Differential Spider Gear Kit & Clutch Plate Set info?

I am trying to replace broken spider gear for my 2007 PPV, where can I buy aftermarket Limited Slip (G80) Differential parts? I did a lot of online search with NO luck. Dealer price is very high, Yukon Gear's set does compatible with GM factory differential; rockauto.com does not offer Limited Slip spider gear.

I was under the impression the g80 gov lock was non serviceable. You might be better off finding another complete 10 bolt rear axle since they came under so many vehicles. Then you could also ditch the 3.08 gear.

Just for the record... the G80 is NOT a limited slip differential.

The RPO code G80 was used for both the cars and the trucks but they are different animals.

The G80 in the cars were indeed a LSD.

The G80 in the trucks were a locking rear end and does not require LSD friction modifier to be added as it will mess with the clutch packs in the locker.

Just thought I would clear that up so there is no confusion while you are actively looking for a replacement or replacement parts.

just throw a eaton detroit in there and you'll probably never have to work on it again, it's a couple bucks more than the g80 but worth it.

Do you have Detroit TrueTrac part # for Tahoe PPV?

I'll have to go look through my receipts. It's been so long. Give me a bit and I'll go check.

That's exactly what I did, I dropped a Detroit True Trac in mine.

My YukonXL (non PPV) build sheet lists my G80 - H.D. RR AUTO LOCK DIFFERENTIAL if that helps anyone.
