I have a white 2010 LT tahoe. As of now it is mostly stock with the exception of G4 tails, white bowties, tint and a LTZ grille (which ended up on the truck by accident at the dealer). Anyways I have an escalade third brake light waiting to get painted as well as a Escalade roof rack and a set of new LTZ moldings.

Ive been debating chrome or gloss black TBSS reps because the stock 17s have to go.

My original plan was to go with chrome TBSS reps and put on the LTZ moldings and Esky roof rack which are chrome. Now im thinking about going with black TBSS reps in gloss black. If I do that I would swap out the chrome grille to the one thats on ebay which looks like the LTZ grille but its all gloss black. My problem then is, would the LTZ moldings and esky roof rails look funny? I definitely want to go with the Esky rack. The moldings I could either do LTZ, the older "block" style ones that are all painted if I can find them somewhere, or even do a complete delete. What do you guys think?

I say chrome TBSS's with 09+ LTZ moldings or the escalade molding strip. Keep the chrome LTZ grille, and do the Esky rack. I run the comp grey TBSS's in the winter time, I will post a pic. It may give you some idea of what yours could look like. I have some Kmc chromies for summer but I would definetly have done the TBSS's in chrome but at the time of summer wheel purchase I had no idea about them. Summer set up is in sig. Hope it helps.

Junior, definitely go chrome. The black will not go with your theme and the direction you're heading.

Well right now the only thing chrome on the truck is the grille. That could easily be swapped out since the bumper has to get resprayed anyways. I hate being indecisive.

You werin the the same prediciment i was in. I didnt have chrome and it was going to be too much to add chrome stuff money wise to make it into what would normally be a oridinary looking truck. Needless to say, i Went with TBSS Champion gery, Painted the Trim on the Grill and SS bumper cover lower dams grey to match the rims. I removed the side steps and added the Street sceens side skirts.
Removed the LT badges, The badges on the the lift gate, removed the Tahoe badges on the sides, Painted them with a Lens tint to give it a Black chrome look.

I say keep your 17s and do what i do since you live were snow is likely in the winter. Get some snow tires for winter months. Youll double the life of both sets of tires, and dont have to worry about ******* up your TBSS from winter driving and hidden pot holes. Both tire sets have been bought over 2 years ago and tread is Nearly new on both sets.

Do the chrome. It just looks classier w/ a white vehicle. But do what sumo said and keep the 17's as winter rims. Very nice to have a spare set just in case and keeps the rims and tires lasting longer.
