I am having trouble with my power locks on my 1997 Chevy tahoe 4 dr. The power locks went out, the buttons for both front doors and the rear barn door do not work. I looked on the forum, and changed the relay under the dash board, above the gas pedal. After this did not work, I took the left front door lock/ power window lock buttons off and circuit tested the wiring. I found power in a yellow wire leading into the lock button harness, but no others. When i jumped the yellow wire with power to the light blue and white wires (In the shop manual, these 2 wires are supposed to go to the other doors lock actuators), the locks worked. I could not get any power from any other wires, even when I pushed the lock button down and tested them all. the only one that constantly had power was the yellow wire the whole time. I thought the lock switch was bad, so I replaced the lock switch/ power window switch assembly and found the same result. I cant figure this thing out at all! Thanks, Ben

Have you checked all the fuses? Maybe the front door locks run through a different fuse?

I did check them, sorry for not putting that in original post. The fuses are all good.

Only other thing I can suggest is make sure all the plugs for the switches in each door are secure.
