help:Should i do a tune on my tahoe?

About 6 months ago i did a rear end replacement of the stock gear ratio to a 3:73 i believe, i cant really remember, anyways are you supposed to have it tuned after swap? and if so where can i get it done, im located in Stockton so anyone with some info will greatly be appreciated.

if you stayed with OEM gear ratio, no. If you changed it, your speed-o will be off.

Your ride will shift at the wrong RPM as it thinks the MPH is different. For the shift to happen it must meet three things: %throttle, MPH and RPM.

so it's still the stock ratio?
90% of Tahoe/yukons have 3.73:1 ratios

if you changed ratio's, yes, have it re-calibrated for new gear or speedo will be off
