Help with DIC

I just wanted to update my situation. I was finealy able to take the reciept from the dealer and parts they replaced to the shop that had originaly done the work for me. the owner had no problem remberseing me with cash for all the repairs the dealer did. The kid that was new to the shop and who did the work on my yukon was let go because of this. The owner was very sorry for the problem and asked if there was anything else he could do to make it right. We shook hands and left it at that.. Any thoughts anyone or coments?

Sounds like an unfortunate situation and the shop owner did the best he could to make it right.
It sucks the kid lost his job, but we don't know the whole story; this could be one of many instances, he lied, etc.
At the end of the day, do you know exactly what the kid did wrong? And what did the dealer do and replace?
