help with hid question

hid bulb is to big for headlight housing had to use bulb that came with the assembly also one led bulb is not working there is a shield inside the projector which the bulb will hit even if it would fit in the hole help !

You will need to machine the hole out a very little bit, basically just cleaning it up. Then depending on the hosuings you purchased you will need to space the hid bulb back out of the housing to get a somewhat adequate beam pattern so the issue of it being too long is dealt with by doing so. The led light is probably just loose in its socket, I have had a couple that must have gotten bump during install and just had to re-seat them and they worked fine.

ok i got the machineing part that makes senece but there is a shield inside the projector and what can I use as a shim and how would I lock it in place

I ended up using a rubber spacer that was the same diameter of the base of the bulb. The spacer is almost 3/4" thick and I was able to use the wire spring clip that was on the housings, had to bend them alittle bit, but they are holding them tight. You may have to clearance a part of the radiator support directly behind where the bulb sits as spacing it out of the housing may cause the clearance issue.
