Hey all, I have read a lot through your forum, and I have not found anything on changing the intake gasket.....
So here is what I have:
2000 Yukon XL 6.0 4X4
185000 Miles
Needing to change the intake gasket, and not really wanting to pay the shop $400 to do it. I am not a newbie at automotive, but I am disabled, and cannot bend easily.....I am looking at getting a DVD shop manual off eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290441191237&viewitem= I have worked on carburated engines before, just nothing this new.
Well to get to the point, is this a pretty straight forward job, or should I pay to have it done?
Also if ya want check out my son and I's car page at. http://www.cardomain.com/id/yogohuntr
Thanks for your time.
