Hey guys, I usually am pretty good with digging deep for information but in the subject of car electronics/wiring I get confused easily, so I apologize in advance if this is a rookie question.

I have a 2003 Yukon Denali with factory nav/bose, no rear seat entertainment.
I recently found out the problem I have been having is in the headunit itself and not the wiring, so therefore it's time to upgrade to a new headunit.

I plan on ordering a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X399 along with the PAC RP5-GM11 from Crutchfield so I can retain everything.

My question is in the wiring of the PAC harness to the Kenwood harness, is it just color match the wires? Are there any diagrams out there? What about the steering control adapter? Thanks guys, I really do appreciate the help.

If you order from Crutchfield they will walk you through it, Ive done a friends and if I remember correctly it was very easy, but use Crutchfields support and you'll have no problems.

Thanks, I did some calling around and found out it's not too expensive to have a reputable shop do it, so I'm gonna go that route. Thanks
