Are you getting any check engine codes too?
When is it doing this? You probably did not need to get a new throttle body you could have cleaned the one you had more then Likely.

What have you done since you got your 2003 Tahoe?

Have you changed the oil and filter?

Put new spark plugs and wires?

Checked the coil packs?

Checked the altanator with a load test and the battery?

Have you changed the differential fluid. And if indeed you are a 4X4 both?

Have you cleaned the Mass air flow sensor ?

Checked and or drained and replaced the filter on the transmission ?

Checked the transfer case?

I would run some sea foam in the fuel tank and through the vacuumed line under the hood and some in the oil too before you change the oil. Then I would get some Lucs oil and put it in the fuel tank with the following fill up to re lubracte the seals. I would also do a full tune up and change all fluids including coolant!
