People always ask me about the Hood and where I bought it so here you go.

Price went up to $232 but still worth it.
The quality is good and hood is as well made as the stock hood.
The 99 to 02 Silverado 2500/3500 HD Hood is a direct bolt on replacement for the 00 to 06 Tahoe,s

GM charge $600 for this hood replacement so $232 is a real bargain

Thanks for the info JD, I would clone your (JKs too haha) Tahoe with Matt Flat black paint, if I wasn't going to sell my Tahoe next summer for a NNBS Escalade once i graduate College/

also I've called a few shops here in cali and i got a quote to paint the hod for 300 dollars i was like wtf ? then i called my boy that owns a shop and he was like 275 installed and all i was like you serious ? Prices seem a little to high to just paint the hood. .

what did you pay for the paint match ?

The shipping I think was $94 and I had the HD hood, front grille, SS bumper and rear bumper all painted together which finally came to $1000

So to just paint the HD hood with a good paint job and clear coated I think $250 - $300 is about right

Do a search from member trick26. He did this on his Denali. You basically have to trim the hood to fit around the headlights is all.
