I'm new here ... I've got a fully optioned 4 door 2 wheel drive 1995 Tahoe. I've done alot of work to it, mostly internal. I'm the second owner, most of the stuff is stock. The truck has 240K on the odometer, it's on the second tranny, first one blew at 169K. I rebuilt that in my garage. If you've ever searched for 4L60E rebuild you've probably seen my info on another board. Stock engine but I have a plan brewing there ... this past weekend I just did 3.90 gears. I stripped 7 teeth off the factory 3.73s LOL. I also did LED tail lights, I've gotten a few fix it tickets recently. The lights look awesome, I can't wait to do the fronts. Maybe HID conversion ...
Some other mods are debadged, dropped 2 inches all around (spindles up fornt, shackles int eh rear), 31x10.5 off road tires. Banks power pack kit (Shorty headers, 3 inch cat back single exhaust, K+N filter), 'free' throttle body mods, Accel cap, coil, rotor, wires, Platinum plugs, Stage 2 4L60E w now 3.90 rear gears, trans cooler, full poly front end, poly trans mount, poly rear spring bushings, drilled front rotors, Timken wheel bearings, Raybestos extreme duty upper and lower ball joints.
Future plans include rebuilt 355 roller block, LS6 bee hive spring topped Vortec heads (currently on my Camaro), LT4 Hot cam, full rollerized valve train, custom tuned chip, 750cfm throttle body, electric fans, full aluminum welded radiator, posi rear, upgraded axles, rear end girdle, traction bars, rear disc brakes, under drive pulleys, poly engine mounts, 20 inch IROC styled rims, upgraded lights, de-chrome, monochrome paint job.
