Those of you running an HID kit, do you have any issues with state inspection since they are not DOT approved? I have to do something with my headlights, they are just to dim at night.

What kit is everyone running? I was thinking a 35w setup for low beam and a 55w for high beam. I'd imagine the lows being 55w would be to close to the high beams.

Lol I'm running quad bi-xenon hid projectors. 55w on one set and 35w on the other. However I haven't gotten it inspected around here yet. But they didn't say anything about my eBay projector lights I had before with hids.

I'm from Massachusetts and I'm a state inspector and I pass some cars with hids as long as they are not the regular bulbs which the blue reflects on the lens is fine

Ok, I was planning on using 5k (white), not blue. What brands are everyone using? They range from $25 to $60 for most sets.

Thats right. I dont think Texas gives a damn about HID! Or LED for that matter because I had no problem passing last year. Although... the inspector is my friend lol.
