What housings are you guys using? I'm using the stock housings, and the headlight pattern sucks! While the HID's are brighter, they don't focus any light on the road, so you can't see any more with them in there.

Hids really shouldn't be used with reflective housings made for halogens. They throw light everywhere including into oncoming traffic which can be momentarily blinding. You could get yourself some projectors off ebay but most of them have horrible output also. So, if you want to do it right, find some nice projectors(TSX, S2000, Morimoto) and do a retro.

Thank you, looking up parts now. Doesn't look too hard to do a retro install. Meh. Too bad I didn't start out with that to begin with!

Yeah, if you do it proper, you'll be amazed at how nice and bright a good set of projectors are.

They look nice but the "halo" thing ain't for me. On another note, did you get the housings from ebay.

These are the housings i'm considering. What do you guys think? Are these gonna allow the hid's do to their thing? As always, thanks for the input.

Those don't look bad but I can almost guarantee they're not made for hids. They'll work but output won't be that great. You might even have to modify them to accept the longer hid bulbs. If you were ever to do a retro, those look like good candidates.
