HID light ?'s

Looking at grabing some HID lights from this site. But i can't figure out the rest Gurus help a brotha out!!!

Watt ----55 watt

Bulb type---??????????

color----- 12k

mounting brackets---55watt

12k is going to be purple if that's what you're going for. I run 6000k in my Tahoe and 5000k in my other car. You don't need a mounting bracket, just get creative. Also, I have the 35w kit, never used a 55w.

Why do you want HID? you obviously don't want to be able to see any better, considering your temp choice of 12k.
They blind the living shit out of oncoming drivers! they look like shit, and they produce hardly ANY usable light.


If all you want is the "Im cool with my pretty color lights :gayfight:" Retro some LED's into the buckets and drive with your lights OFF!
The road visibility will be the same.

I want the slight hint of blue in the lights. Since posting the post above i found the color/temp choices. I will probably run 6k-8k. Thanks Hokie the link you posted points me to the H11 bulb

yes. However, if you look at mine, depending on a certain angle, mine go from pure white to purple.

Anything over 4300k is just color, there is no usuable light output.
