I've been wanting to do this mod, but I've heard alot of people having issues with them. I'll be looking forward to how yours will work and how the installation process went.

ddmtuning.com

35W Raptor Kit
H11 Bulb
Relay optional
~$43 shipped

So I'm looking at these on the site and it says is for a VW Golf, should I be concerned with that? Also how easy are these to install? Is there a write-up anywhere on here that someone can direct me to?

Thanks

Also I'm kinda torn between 4500k, 5000k, and 6000k. Anyone have any input on here about which to go with to get to achieve a more natural look that wont look too blue or too yellow?

I assume the answer is go with the 5000k since it's the happy medium, but I thought I would get some input from you bada** motherfu**ers ;)

My 55w 6000k are bluish. I don't mind that, but if you're looking for a more "natural light", I'd steer away from 6000k.

I got the 8000k, but I wanted more of a blue color and I don't think it matters if it says it's for a vw or not. I may be wrong, but I think it's just the bulb that matters then the headlight wires get spliced into the ballast. I will do pics of the install and post them.

Well just ordered 1) set of 35w 5000's for back up and 2) sets of 35w 6000's for fogs and headlights. Living in the country this should help backing down the driveway. Maybe I can quit rolling down the windows and finally look out the back window...Lol
