High idle

I'm leaving it as is tight now. I'd rather deal with a low idle then a really high idle.

Update: I ended up changing my plugs and wires with ac delco because I don’t know the last time they were done. A couple of the plugs were gapped at like .70 it seemed like and they were not oem plugs. So I did my best to gap them between .55 and .60 never gapped plugs before but the problem hasn’t reoccurred and it’s Been a couple days so maybe it was dumping extra fuel because of a larger spark

But I’m still gonna pull my throttle body and maf and clean them one of these days

Good news. BTW the recommended gap on plugs changed to .040 quite awhile ago and the iridium ones come pre gapped at that and most of the others should too. .55 to .60 will work fine too but if the problem comes back I would go to .40. You didn’t use iridium plugs did you, because they aren’t supposed to be re gapped since it’s too easy to damage the electrode.

I used double platinum and thanks I didn’t realize it was changed
