I'm in the mid 16s with my 2016 with 5.3L and AFM turned off. Mix if city and highway. Much better than the 12-14 I was getting with my old Silverado.
Turning the AFM off seems to have dropped it ~2MPG for me. YMMV.

Let’s just say I’m skeptical that anyone is getting 30+ mpg out of any full size GM stock truck with any fuel that is widely available to consumers. There is no way that is possible over, say, a full tank of fuel. I’d be impressed if you could get over 23.

*excluding 3.0 diesel—I have no idea what those numbers look like.

2015 Denali and we get about 13-14 with my wife’s normal kiddo shuffle within about 5 miles of the house. Gets 16-17 if she mixes a good amount of farther errands but any trips we take it easily gets 21-22 mpg and that’s calc’d in my app not off the read out. We always run Premium 91 octane though.

Of course we get about 10.5 when we tow our travel trailer LOL

With my 2015 Tahoe LS ,i get 24 mpg with AFM off and i have not noticed any difference in it's fuel mileage.Tha AFM never stayed engaged on the highway as to many hills and erratic traffic to be off any value.Around the city not worth the effort. This Tahoe is so much better than my 2000 Tahoe LT.
