Thanks for the reply.
I too tow a boat so I align with your situation there. Performance is my 1st priority and wheels probably a close 2nd.
I am not overly familiar with what a tuner is/does... can you elaborate?

I purchased this not long after I bought my 2016 Yukon. I installed the basic 93 Octane Street Performance/Tow tune. After driving it a few days I went back in and modified some of the optional parameters like shift firmness and fuel pressure. These tuning modules connect to your computer via a port below the dash and allow you to modify the performance characteristics of your vehicle. The performance with mine now is noticeably better than stock and is great fun to drive. Acceleration in traffic and getting on the Interstates is very strong. The neat part about this is that I can return the system to it's original factory configuration in less than 10 minutes.
My wife doesn't really know or understand what I did and the Yukon is her daily driver primarily. Once I got it set up as it is now she came to me one evening after she came in from work and said that she had noticed over the past few weeks how much better her Yukon performed since it has "broken in" from being new. I asked her what she meant and she explained that the power and acceleration was instant with just a gentle nudge of the accelerator...in fact it's almost intimidating !!! I chuckled to my self and then asked her if she really liked it...she said she loved it and loves the comments she gets from her "girls" at work when they all take her Yukon to lunch. One of them exclaimed " Wow...this thing will really go...it has great pick up !!!" This comment was made by my wife's co-worker that drives a 2016 Mustang !!
That's what a tuner can do. 25 years ago we had to change cams and intake systems, install exhaust headers and custom exhaust systems...all the while creating a vehicle that performed well but didn't have very good "Parking Lot Manners" and used a lot of gas. Now with computerized tuning we get close to the same performance with some simple programming and it remains low key and stealthy...until you "Hammer Down"...then you know.
