Hey guys,
So, my truck is not in best shape in the world, 180k plus now. The interior needs new carpet, the driver's side was hit and not repaired well, but well enough, drivers door still has two large dents from the previous owners lack of care in that incident.
Here is the deal, I love it. However, I am battling the rust on the roof rack, just did a repair a while back and was able to drill out the rust, jb weld it, coat it in rust inhibitor, then paint...then I siliconed the rack down.
The front lip of the hood looks like a disaster, hit with tons of rock and lots of little rust spots starting. So, with this in mind, I am thinking about painting on a truck bed liner "bug shield."
It would cover the rust and paint problem...but I am wondering if it would just look terrible...Have any of you tried this?
