HOOD-ness

couldnt think of a better title...


anyway thought id share a freak moment. I was headed to a soccer game, taking the interstate, this past tuesday, and out of the corner/bottom of my eye i see something sort of jut out or move. I didnt think anything of it till i saw the hood line on the truck was off, so i looked at the DIC and it read "hood open" haha WTH? so i pull over and close it, but whats weird is i havent been under the hood since the previous thursday, i mean 5 days of driving and all the sudden... anyone else with this or some freak moment?

Not on the tahoe. But I had something similar happen in my explorer. I was going down the beltway going 80 when I saw the hood bouncing. Freaked me out. I guess I must have moved my foot and caught the hood latch.

Never happened to me, you probably did not latch it well whenever you close it last.

Um I never heard of this EVER until it happened to me last week. I literally stopped at a stop sign and next thing I know I hear a big thud and I was like what the hell. I thought I ran over a cone or something. Then the DIC said hood open. I got out, closed the hood (cars behind me honking and all), and drove straight to the dealership.
