Hoping to drop Trans temp from 210 to 170

I noticed there are 2 different Tru-Cools listed here, one with a cold weather bypass and one without. Which is the best way to go?

Since it rarely gets cold here in texas I installed the kit without the bypass.

I have an '05 so mine was easy. I just pulled the grill off. A user on another board makes a kit for the NBS trucks so that made it very easy. I not sure on NNBS trucks like yours.
