Do you prefer the worm drive hose clamps or the spring type? Going to replace a few hoses always used the worm drive ones in the past

For what is worth, I discussed this issue with the owner of an automotive repair shop several years ago. He has been in the business for 40 years, seen it all and owns a first rate independent shop. His statement was that spring clamps are superior, hold better, are more reliable and that is the reason the manufacturers use them. He said if wrestling a spring clamp off occasionally with a regular pair of pliers annoys you then spend a few bucks buy a pair of hose clamp pliers. He convinced me and I now have a pair of spring clamp pliers sourced at a swap meet.
