Uh no. Police dogs bite perps all the time.Unfortunately, that causes the dog to have to be quarantined for a couple weeks, and adds a mark to the dog's record. If the dog bites again, it could result in the forced destruction of the dog.
If a civilian dog bites someone, even with good reason, they are almost always required to quarantine to insure they aren't rabid or something else. Then there is a record for the animal that it bites. If you have further biting incidents, it gets more and more difficult to avoid having the dog destroyed for being vicious.Uh no.
