How do you roll fenders?

I dont think its possible to roll our front fenders as the wheel-well is metal as well and holes the battery box and fuse box....

You may have a good point!

But alot of times the lip of the fender actually sits lower than the fenderwell (the fenderwell usually attaches to the fender higher than the lip) allowing the lip of the fender to be rolled upwards.

no...our fender lip is riveted to the fender-well....it runs flush, thats why I had to buy a new fender...I destroyed mine and couldnt roll the lips =/

always used the basball bat theory but you can use news paper to do it also. jack the car up put news paper on the wheel then lower the car down on it. the more you want it rolled the more paper you add..

After doing a handful of fenders, I have to give my opinion on these alternate methods. If you're the type of person who goes to the auto parts store and buys a flame sticker to put on your car just because you have $5 in your pocket, use a bat. You obviously don't care to do it properly. Use the correct tool with a heat gun and do it right. A lot of patience is required. Baseball bats, newspapers, etc....will get the job done, but you risk an uneven roll and damaging the paint. The key is to make it look like it came from the factory that way. Just my two cents.

Im kinda lost on this topic.... Whats the purpose of rolling the fenders and BTW which direction do they get rolled.... in towards the frame or out towards yourself??? (Im guessing out)
