What do you guys think of my front brake pads?

All done. After the first one the second one was a breeze… going for a test ride now. I’ll drop a picture of those pads in a minute. They actually had quite a bit of life left, but I suppose I can keep them for backups if they’re evenly worn? Or do we not do that.
Lots of life left. I don’t usually hang on to that kind of stuff, but they’re definitely reusable if you’re in a financial pinch in the future.

My dad said re surface them a bit. They were a little glazed.

Also when I was removing all the bolts and stuff everything was so tight so I made everything as tight I could again. I mean like hang tight. I didn’t stomp on anything

Should be fine. 3/8” and 1/2” torque wrenches are wise investments though, even if they’re cheap harbor freight ones. I use them every time.

slight gradual pull to right. I know calipers aren’t sticking. I was able to move them 1-2 mm. They should have a little play I read because they are a floating design. I think it’s a pre existing alignment issue

Also greased pistons with this

When is sizzling from brakes normal? Like I touch them and spit on em a bit and they sizzle. No smell or smoke …
