How exactly do you clean a MAF?

I keep a can of CRC maf cleaner along with a can of their throttle body cleaner in the garage all the time. You can damage the sensor with other products, spend the money on the correct chemicals.

Also, when I do mine, I usually clean my CAI filter and the throttle body so I usually have the CAI tube completely off to do the throttle body and the filter off to clean it up so I leave the MAF installed on the CAI heat shield and clean it while it is on there!! I never have to even touch it to have the chance to damage it!! Works great!!
