I have done alot of research in the last couple of weeks and found that this is probably the best tune to go with that being said I am unsure how the tuning works. Would I pay for the tune then you guys would send me a Datalogging box where I would log for a few hours of various driving then send it back and they recieve a new ECU in the mail or is it just flashed through the OBD2 port?. Or is the logging equiptment sent with the log box and software for my computer and i send the tune VIA email and keep the programmer for future retunes? Also pricing is kind of up and down here $300-$520 is a large margin. I have a 2001 Yukon Denali the truck is stock less the rims and I am going to grab and AIRRAID kit, So how much would it cost and how does it work in a nutshell.

regards.

I guess the easiest way to start you off, is by telling you that there are a few different tuning options (hence the difference in price).

Traditional Tune - Complete an order form with pertinent details and we ship out a set of computers to you. You will need to have a crank relearn done by someone who has a Tech II or similar.
Tune service: $200
PCM core charge:$100

Scan Cable Tune - With the security deposit, we send out a data logger, to be used with a Windows based Laptop to collect data. Then, using that data and an order form that you complete, we complete and ship the set of computers out to you to be installed. You use the scan cable to perform your crank relearn.
Tune service: $300
PCM core charge: $100
Scan cable security deposit: $250

AutoCal - All tuning is completed by email with this option. The AutoCal is used to collect data from the truck, much like the scan cable tune, without needing a laptop, and all tuning is completed based on that data. The end result is emailed to you to be installed using the OBD2 port under the dash.
Hardware and Tune: $549

We also sell the AirAid, if you would like a price quote, shoot us an email at [email protected] with your zip, and we can get you a quote.

so with the autocal i would be able to keep the programmer and just install maps off of it rather than switching the ECU all the time.
