How hot do these get? (resistors)

Actually, back in the day they hyper-flashed because they used a bi-metal strip in the flasher, and one bulb didn't make that much resistance, so instead of it springing far away from the contact like 2 bulbs would make it do, it just jumped a little, then touched right back. Hence the hyper-blink.

Things were much simpler back then... now everything is done with computers unfortunately.

I have nbs Yukon so I installed a Novita LM487 Flasher, I didn't want to cut into my factory wiring and deal with hot resisters

NNBS doesn't have a flasher relay you can swap

Pretty HOT, definitely want to mount them to metal.... had to run a set when doing an Honda inspire conversion on another vehicle of mine.
