Yes. Bass is better in the 21 vs what it seemed like in my 16. I also put in infinity front door speakers, Kenwood dash speakers and Rockford rear door speakers.

But I wish someone would come out with an add-on sub like the 15-20 had.

The aftermarket speakers help a ton; just wish for a little more.

I think it sounds fine. Definitely not going to shake your rearview mirror or anything but seems adequate. The older I get this kind of thing has really lost it's cool factor for me though

@Kpwweb did you put those 3 different aftermarket brands into your 16 or 21 ?

Also, just more of a curiosity question.... why not stick with one brand, how did you end up with 3 different ones?

Both.

infinity had the two ohm 6x9 speakers for the front door; Kenwood had better dash speakers; and Rockford had a larger 6-3/4” cone for the rear door 6-1/2” opening. Would have liked all the same, but no one manufacturer had all the check boxes.

I have the bass in the EQ turned all the way up to get a sufficient amount from the system.

This has never changed in my experience for any GM Bose system over the last 20 years.

I've always joked, "All highs, no lows. Bose".

Can you tell me which model numbers you got for each?

Seems like Bose has always been overpriced, overhyped and really underwhelms. With so many better offerings out there I wonder what it is that keeps GM using bose?
