Hello, I'm new to the forums, first post. I come from a world of modified VW's and Audi's so I'm well aware of life after lowering, but also know the different between dropped, and impractical.

I just bought a 2wd 07 tahoe after my 01 suburban "expired." I will be daily driving it as well as my GF fairly often. I'm thinking about 2/4 or 3/5 drop but was hoping for some real world experience about the drivability of it. Are those with 3/5 drops scraping on everything, are common speed bumps an issue, etc etc?

I will be running stock wheels and tires at first, but then hopefully going to 22 or 24.

Like I said, I'm new to lowered SUVs so please take it easy on me if this is a dumb question haha

Any help would be great! Cheers

I run a 2-3 on 22 with my 08 denali and it's fine, 45 Miles ea way. I love the ride and look. So I'm sure the 3-5 would be just fine as well just run 40 series on a 22. I have 45 since I tow a lot on weekends

I'm on 3-6 with Tony's tbss bags and love the ride so much better then the stock autoride just gotta run the right tires and do bit of trimming. I was worried about speed bumps and driveways too but then I realized this wasn't a civic 3" drop

After today I'll be getting a hold of Tony for that air bag kit, I had 3 10 year olds in my 3rd row 2 16 year olds in my second row captian and was hitting the bump stops a few times and that kinda stuff drives me crazy hahahaha. I'm sure his kit can fix that.

Going this low gets expensive due to having to get Panhard and Sphon kit etc?

Does it not?
