Nope. It’s a known issue. I’ve heard it in some I’ve rented or taken as livery. It’s like sitting inside a kettle drum.

Luckily mine, knock wood, doesn’t have it.
Ok, I got it, but I never experienced anything like that, I will keep out for now.

agree...our 15 yukon xl was horrible and at times would make myself and passengers sick as well as the constant ear popping pressure. Some folks never noticed it. I drove many in hopes of switching out for a new one but never had much luck until last summer when I found a 17 burb premier that was perfect and to this day seems to be buffeting free. With our 15, a new set of michelins road forced every 6mos disguised the issue to make it bearable to drive but it was never buffeting free.

I think the issue became less and less prevalent beyond the 16 models but believe it's a design issue.

2016 Yukon XL Denali here with 19,000 miles with most of our miles being racked up in Hawaii rarely going over 60 MPH. We recently moved to the East Coast and took a 800 mile round trip drive over this weekend and I can't even get over 77 MPH before it shakes violently. We had the booming problem fixed last year and now we have the vibration and shaking.

I'm taking it to the dealer this week. I don't want to get rid of it but I'd happily trade it for a 2019 model if GM has resolved the issue. Based on what I've read, I'm not sure they have.

They had that problem fix, by the way you Denali must be stationary at home? Because you had no mileage on this car, or you got it last year?

They lived in Hawaii! Where were they going to travel? A “long” road trip on the big island would be 100 miles I bet.

Agree, vibrations at 77MPH can be fixed no problem. Take it into the dealer.

2019 Callaway Tahoe, on every new car/truck I replace the exhaust and wheels and tires, been doing this since the late 90's, never had a wheel vibration, or any other type of vibration, can open the sunroof at any speed and get no wind buffetting, had that problem in a few of the 12 Escalade's I had over the years, it's annoying, but have no issues in my Tahoe

Also, some people are more sensitive; others don't notice.
I remember when we started this booming in June 2014, it was a guy from Niagara Falls, NY the dealer swap 2- 2015 Tahoe and he end it going back to 2014 Denali, he start all this thing and I tell him I don't notice anything and always ask my family and they never feel or noticed anything.

I owned my 2015 Tahoe for 4yrs without noticing it. The day I traded it in for my 2017 Suburban I noticed the noises

I too had lived in Hawaii for years though. And I didn’t notice the noise until I removed the roof racks and swapped rims/tires with the ‘Burb
